Coach Kelvin
Kelvin was born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. He began playing soccer at a very young age for B.Y.C FC in Liberia. He moved with his family to the United States for a better education, where he then joined the Hosa FC development team. Kelvin started his collegiate career at Louisburg Junior College. His sophomore year at Louisburg, he helped the Hurricanes with an unbeaten regular season, making history for the institution. Kelvin had the opportunity to play semi-professional for the Carolina Dynamo and Dayton Dutch Loins (USL League 2). In the fall 2015 school year, Kelvin transferred to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he finished his collegiate career and received his undergraduate degree in Business Management.
In 2018, Kelvin signed his first professional contract with Icelandic side Dalvik/Reynir FC, where he spent the past three seasons. At Dalvik, Kelvin helped his team achieved promotion and was named Player of the Year in both his first and second seasons at the club.
Alongside playing for Dalvik/Reynir FC, Kelvin began to develop as a leader within the academy. His playing experience in the professional game has played a major part in his development. Throughout the different levels of his soccer career, Kelvin's experiences have shown him what it takes become an elite player. Kelvin now hopes to share his knowledge with other players and prepare them for the next level.
