Yuri is from São Paulo , Brazil, and started playing soccer at a very young age. Yuri has played for Barueri youth academy and a few other youth teams in Brazil. Yuri came to the United States at the age of 15 to finish high school at Montverde Academy where he won three high school national championships. After three years in Florida, Yuri decided to continue his soccer career at Queens University of Charlotte where he helped the Royals win their back to back regular season championships. 

 

Yuri has also been successful as a soccer coach. He has been working as a private coach for multiple years. Additionally, Yuri has worked in soccer clinics at Montverde and at soccer camps for Queens University of Charlotte.

 

Yuri loves to work with young soccer players and share their passion for the game. His goal is to inspire young players to improve their soccer skills through hard work and dedication while also having fun. Yuri believes that his experience and guidance can help young players grow their skills, confidence, and passion for the game.
