Coach Matheus

Matheus is from Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, and began playing soccer at a very young age. Matheus has played for some Youth Soccer Teams in Brazil and played 2 Copa Sao Paulo, the most important U-20 championship in Brazil. He had a great experience competing against top teams such as Palmeiras and Atletico Mineiro. After that, he came to the United States to play soccer and complete his studies. Matheus started his university soccer career playing for Marshalltown Community College. He then transferred to Marquette University to play Division I, and later came to Queens University of Charlotte. Matheus had the opportunity to play pre-professional soccer for the Tormenta FC and Green Bay Voyagers (both USL 2 teams).

Matheus is not only a great soccer player, but he is also an experienced coach! He has conducted private soccer training sessions for multiple players at Marshalltown Indoor Soccer (Futsal) and coached youth soccer camps with Marquette University.

Matheus chose to be a coach because he believes that young children can have fun playing soccer while striving to achieve great opportunities in their careers. He hopes to help his players evolve by sharing his own elite-level experiences and applying P3's training methodology!
