
Filipe is from Salvador, Brazil, and began playing soccer at a very young age. Filipe has played for the Corinthians Youth Soccer Teams and then came to the United States to play soccer and complete his studies. Filipe started his university soccer career playing for Indiana Wesleyan University, where he was a First Team All-League player in the 2019 season, scoring 12 goals in 18 games. Filipe had the opportunity to play pre-professional soccer for the Charlotte Eagles (a USL League 2 team) last summer and was offered a spot on the Queens University of Charlotte Men's Soccer team for the 2020 season.
Filipe is not only a great soccer player, he is also an experienced coach! Filipe has been conducted private soccer training sessions for multiple players at Futsala Indoor Soccer. Filipe has also coached youth soccer camps with the Charlotte Eagles and with Queen's University of Charlotte.
Filipe loves to coach young soccer players. His goal is to inspire young players to work hard while having fun to make their soccer dreams a reality. Filipe believes that if every player is given the opportunity to learn the proper skills, they have the potential to take their game to the next level. Having the experience of playing both in Brazil and in the US, Filipe can help players to improve their performance and their soccer mentality.
